A native of Dallas, Texas, Erin Matthews is an up-and-coming singer and teacher in the Boston area. After earning her masters degree from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Ms. Matthews has gone on to teach private vocal lessons, helping students of all ages uncover their natural, resonant instruments.


Ms. Matthews earned her 1600 hour Alexander Technique Teaching Certificate from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee Extension Program.

Most recently, Ms. Matthews appeared in the Guerrilla Opera premiere of “The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage,” which is slated to open its fully staged production in January 2023.

Ms. Matthews is a founding member of Boston-based Strange Trace Opera, which seeks to highlight new composers & new works, while making opera more accessible to diverse audiences, in a yearly festival of entirely new works.
